1 Desktop vs Laptop on Mon Oct 27, 2008 9:36 am

I think nowadays laptops are winning with personal computers because they can be taken to the work, shool or any place where somebody need it. In the past laptops were big and unconfortable, but now they have better tehnical parameters than pc and are smaller. But there is one thing that in this times pc have better situation, it is the internet, there aren't so good wireles internets such as local internets.
In my opinion laptops are winning with personal computers.

I think that nowadays laptops are more usefull than PCs. You can take laptop everywere : to school, work ect. But on the other side the PCs are kind of oldchool type of comuter and for me are better because i can't habituate to laptops. ...

Hi,
As far as I am corcerned, laptops can be used anywhere you want in Tri-city. I mean in Gdansk, Sopot and Gdynia where we live. So if you have a computer you can enjoy surfing the net everywhere you are excluding forests - even on the Baltic beach. But they are still to expensive (although much cheaper than 3-5 years ago) so leaving them in a overcrowded places - is not a good idea. confused
But mobile phones are so sophisticated nowadays. They have so many functions. Ipods are becoming so popular. Don't you think that in some years people won't use compuetrs but portable phones with all the functions from laptops.? What are your suggestions? Idea
