It hard to say what is better. It depends on your needs.
If you look for a small, portable computer that can connect to wirless Network you choose laptop. It is also quite useful if you want to bring your computer for instance to work, school, even to forest if you want to use it near the nature
But if you expect to a faster, more reliable computer you get a normal PC.
