In the past I would like to have best CP from shop, but now, when I don't need good graphic and speed I don't care of it 'cause I don't play any games because I have much more interesting and time-consuming hobbies.

But my english teacher ordered me to write something about "Your ideal CP" so this is my ideal...:
-Intel Core2 Quad 3.0Ghz
-4GB Ram
-GeForce GTX280 Gigabyte 1024MB DDR3
-Laser mouse with teleport

I'd like to buy a computer with the Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 (2.4 GHz), 6 GB DDR2 SDRAM, 1TB hard disk, Quadro FX 5600SDI graphic card, and the Windows XP operating system. I'd have to spend a fortune to get it scratch

RAID 0 is better for workstation tasks.

I would prefer a backup, instead of RAID 1. RAID 5 is very cool but expensive.

I think that the 1GB RAM is now minimum to OS work normally and simple programs... But if you want to plays new games or create in efficiency program that minimum is 2 or even 4GB....

W suppose that amount of RAM is depend on what you need... Somebody has 1GB RAM and it is enough, but second person need 4GB to his PC work normally...
