We use the computer for 30 years, in order to solve tasks of mathematics. Initially we used programs in BASIC. Later the spread-sheet programs Multiplan and EXCEL. When we installed a learning platform in 2003 it was necessary to find a program which can replace slide school booklets. The program must not cost anything. We decided to take the open source CAS Maxima from http://maxima.sourceforge.net. For examples see http://maxima.weilharter.info

And finally, here is my question: which CAS is used in your school?
